  • How Much Is Zoho Mail in Pakistan? Plans, PKR Prices, and What Else to Consider

You want a professional email address. Not [email protected]. You want [email protected]

You searched for Zoho Mail because someone recommended it. Then you opened the pricing page, and everything was in US dollars.

That is the part nobody explains clearly for Pakistani businesses. What does Zoho Mail actually cost in rupees?

Can you pay with Easypaisa or JazzCash? And is Zoho Mail still the best option once you do the full PKR calculation?

This article gives you straight answers to all three questions. The numbers, the features, and a clear comparison so you can decide today.

What Is Zoho Mail?

Zoho Mail is a business email hosting service from Zoho Corporation.

It lets you send and receive email using your own domain name. Instead of [email protected], you get [email protected] or [email protected].

It is ad-free, privacy-focused, and used by over 50 million people worldwide.

Pakistani businesses use it because it is affordable compared to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.

But affordable in dollars still needs a PKR translation before it means anything to a business paying in rupees.

Zoho Mail Plans and What They Include

Free Plan

The Zoho Mail free plan covers up to five users with 5GB of mailbox storage each. It runs web-only.

You cannot access it through Outlook, Apple Mail, or any third-party email client because IMAP and POP are locked out.

For a solo freelancer or a very small team that only checks email through a browser, the free plan works.

For any business that needs mobile access or email clients, it hits a wall quickly.

  • Cost: PKR 0
  • Users: Up to 5
  • Storage: 5GB per user
  • Limitation: No IMAP, no POP, no mobile app, web access only

Mail Lite Plan

Mail Lite is where most Pakistani small businesses land.

It starts at $1 per user per month when billed annually at current exchange rates, which is approximately PKR 278 per user per month.

For a team of five, that is PKR 1,390 per month or PKR 16,680 per year.

This plan unlocks everything the free plan blocks. IMAP and POP access, mobile apps for Android and iOS, multiple domain hosting, email routing, and attachments up to 250MB.

It is the plan that makes Zoho Mail genuinely functional as a business email tool.

  • Cost: $1/user/month billed annually (approx PKR 278/user/month)
  • Storage: 5GB or 10GB per user
  • IMAP and POP access: Yes
  • Mobile apps: iOS and Android included
  • Multiple domains: Yes
  • Attachments: Up to 250MB

Mail Premium Plan

Mail Premium is for teams that need serious storage and compliance features. It costs $4 per user per month, billed annually.

At current rates, that is approximately PKR 1,112 per user per month, for five users, that is PKR 5,560 per month or PKR 66,720 per year.

The premium jump brings 50GB of storage per user, email archival, eDiscovery for legal compliance, S/MIME encryption, and white labeling.

Most Pakistani SMEs do not need these features at their current scale.

It is built for regulated industries like finance, law, and healthcare, where email retention and discovery are legal requirements.

  • Cost: $4/user/month billed annually (approx PKR 1,112/user/month)
  • Storage: 50GB per user
  • Email archival and eDiscovery: Yes
  • S/MIME encryption: Yes
  • White labeling: Yes

The PKR Cost Reality Pakistani Businesses Miss

The dollar prices look small. One dollar per user per month sounds like nothing. But two things change the calculation for Pakistani businesses specifically.

First, Zoho Mail charges in USD. You pay with an international credit or debit card. Visa and Mastercard.

If your business does not have international payment access, and many Pakistani small businesses and freelancers do not, you cannot subscribe at all.

JazzCash and Easypaisa are not accepted on Zoho’s payment page.

Second, the rupee exchange rate is not fixed. What costs PKR 278 per user today may cost PKR 310 per user six months from now if the rupee weakens further.

Your hosting bill in rupees becomes unpredictable even when the dollar price stays the same.

For a business managing tight monthly costs, that unpredictability is a real operational risk.

Here is the actual annual cost at current rates for different team sizes on Mail Lite:

Team SizeMonthly Cost (PKR)Annual Cost (PKR)
1 userPKR 278PKR 3,336
3 usersPKR 834PKR 10,008
5 usersPKR 1,390PKR 16,680
10 usersPKR 2,780PKR 33,360
20 usersPKR 5,560PKR 66,720

These figures assume the current approximate exchange rate of PKR 278 to one US dollar.

They will shift with the rupee. Budget with that in mind.

Who Zoho Mail Is Right For

Zoho Mail Mail Lite is genuinely good value for the right situation.

It works well:

  •  if you have international payment access already
  • If you only need email and not a full website with hosting
  • If your team is small enough that the per-user monthly cost stays manageable.

It is a particularly strong choice for Pakistani freelancers working with international clients who need a professional email address quickly and are already managing dollar payments through a Payoneer or Wise account.

The $1 per user cost is genuinely competitive at that level.

It is less ideal for Pakistani small businesses that need both a website and email, pay only in rupees, and need support that understands the local payment and domain environment.

What If You Need Email and a Website Together?

This is the question most Pakistani businesses should ask before committing to Zoho Mail.

If you need a professional email, you almost certainly also need a website.

These two needs often arrive at the same moment: when a new business is setting up its professional online identity.

Buying Zoho Mail separately for email and then buying hosting separately for a website means two bills, two payment methods, two renewal dates, and two support contacts.

For a Pakistani business paying in rupees with Easypaisa, the Zoho bill alone requires workaround payment methods.

Truehost plan includes a professional business email with every hosting plan.

You get:

  • Custom domain email addresses at [email protected]
  • Webmail access
  • IMAP and POP support
  • Full mobile compatibility bundled with your hosting.

There is no separate email bill. There is no dollar charge.

You pay in rupees, with Easypaisa or JazzCash, and you get both your website and your professional email from a single local account.

The hosting plan starts at PKR 1,500 per year. That is PKR 125 per month for hosting and email combined.

Compared to PKR 278 per user per month for Zoho Mail Lite on its own, the value difference for a business that needs both is clear.

Which One Should You Choose?

If you only need email and you already have an international payment card, Zoho Mail Lite at $1 per user per month is a solid product.

It is reliable, ad-free, and well-regarded globally. The free plan works if five web-only users are enough for now.

If you are setting up a Pakistani business from scratch and need both a professional website and a business email address, the Truehost Pakistan option is the more practical choice.

You pay in rupees. You pay with Easypaisa or JazzCash.

You get your domain, your hosting, and your business email from one local account with one renewal date and one support team that understands your context.

The goal is the same either way: a professional email address that carries your business name instead of Gmail’s.

How you get there depends on what else your business needs alongside it.

Get your business email and website live with Truehost Pakistan. Starting at PKR 1,500 per year.
